Genus: Scenocharops Uchida, 1932
Type species: Scenocharops longipetiolaris Uchida 1932 = Scenocharops flavipetiolus (Sonan, 1929); by original designation.
Diagnosis. Head lenticular, covered with short silvery pubescence; temple narrow; eyes strongly indented opposite antennal sockets; clypeus a little convex to strongly convex, its apical margin broadly rounded; mandible with lamella; mandible with teeth equal or subequal; malar space 0.35–0.60× basal width of mandible; central 0.3 of mesopleuron furrow not impressed; epicnemial carina extending slightly more than 0.5 height of mesopleuron; propodeum with a median groove; fore wing areolet small with a very long petiole, sometimes absent, second discoidal cell acute; hind wing CU&cu-a vein broken at its lower 0.25–0.33; hind tarsal claw pectinate; first metasomal segment with suture separating sternite from tergite dorsally.
