Alebroides rubicundus Ishihara, 1953: 28; Dworakowska, 1997: 311. Alebroides aurantinus Cai & Shen, 1999: 12 . syn. n.

Specimen examined. China: 13, Jigongshan, Xinyang, Henan Province, 12 Jul. 1997, coll. Jian Hu (NWAFU). Distribution. China (Henan), Japan.

Remarks. Cai & Shen (1999) reported Alebroides aurantinus from Jigongshan, Xinyang, Henan Province based on a single male collected on July 12, 1997. Another male of the same species is in the Entomological museum of NWAFU with the same collecting data. As this specimen is identical to A. rubicundus which was described and figured based on a male paratype by Dworakowska (1997), the two taxa are here synonymized.
