Halopteris catharina (Johnston, 1833)

Distribution in South America: polyp—Atlantic Ocean, Brazil, at 25.90°S 45.50°W (Migotto et al. 2004). Habitat: polyp—on shells, nodules of calcareous algae, anthozoan corallum (Migotto et al. 2004).
