Distribution in South America: polyp—Atlantic Ocean, Argentina, at 53.74°S 59.90°W and at 54.93ºS 66.78ºW in Beagle Channel, Tierra del Fuego (El Beshbeeshy 1991, 2011; Seo 2003).

Habitat: polyp—from 130 to 535m depth (El Beshbeeshy 1991, 2011; Seo 2003).
