Distribution in South America: polyp—Atlantic Ocean, Argentina, at 43.61°S 59.26°W, and at 53.62°S 65.60°W (El Beshbeeshy 1991, 2011).

Habitat: polyp—from 110 to 835m depth (El Beshbeeshy 1991, 2011).
