Dactylozodes oberthuri Kerremans, 1897:47 . [Figure 66A & 66B]

Lectotype: “ Type // Equateur Loja Abbé Gaujon //Kerremans.1903-59 // Oberthuri Kerr. Type // NHMUK 011520842 // Dactylozodes oberthuri Kerremans, 1897 LECTOTYPE det. Pineda & Matsumoto, 2020”. Lectotype here designated .

Current status: Lasionota (Nelsonozodes) oberthuri (Kerremans, 1897) (here revalidated).

Comments: We designated this specimen as lectotype of Dactylozodes oberthuri Kerremans, 1897 since it matches the data (Équateur: Loja (abbé Gaujon par R. Oberthur)) as well as the original description made by Kerremans (1897:47). For reasons that he did not explain, Moore (1997) listed this species as synonym of L. tetrazonus (Chevrolat, 1838) . The comparison of lectotypes of the two species showed that L. oberthuri (type locality: Loja, Ecuador) and L. tetrazonus (type locality: Patagonia) are morphologically different species with different distribution areas. For this reason, L. oberthuri (Kerremans, 1897) rev. stat. is reinstated as a valid species. On the other hand, the lectotype of L. oberthuri is identical to the holotype of L. inca (Fig. 8 in Moore & Diéguez, 2019:172) in external characters, as well as in the pattern and color of the dorsal surface. Hence, we propose the synonymy of L. oberthuri with L. inca syn. nov.
