Material examined. Holotype: ♂, Burma (Myanmar), Rangoon, leg. E.W. Oates (BMNH 1895.9.21.1058).
Diagnosis. Charippus errans shares some similarities in palpal morphology with C. yinae, C. heishiding sp. nov. and C. denjii sp. nov., but it can be distinguished by the not serrulate-edged LED and the long embolus coiled more than two circles (Figs 98–99).
