Cainocreadium bolivari (Caballero y Caballero & Caballero, 1970) n. comb.

Synonyms: Hamacreadium bolivari Caballero y Caballero & Caballero, 1970.

Records. From the spotted sand bass, Paralabrax maculatofasciatus (Steindachner) (Serranidae), off the Pacific coast of Mexico by Caballero y Caballero & Caballero (1970).

Remarks. This species is transferred to Cainocreadium because the genital pore is (almost) medial. Furthermore, the testes are in tandem and the body tapers strongly posteriorly, conditions seen in other species of Cainocreadium but not of Hamacreadium . Serranids are frequently reported hosts of Cainocreadium species.
