This species has been recorded from Cameroon, Togo, Gabon, Equatorial Guinea (Fernando Poo), Congo (Beier 1962), and Guinea (Chopard 1954).

Material examined. — Cameroon:— 1 male (syntype) (BMNH); Guinea: Guinee Forestiere, Foret Classee Diecke, Camp 1, elev. 450 m (7°35'45''N, 8°52'19''W), 21–25.xi.2003, leg. P. Naskrecki— 1 male (MCZ).
