Distribution. Neotropical; Chile: Región de Coquimbo (Spinola 1851); Región de Valparaíso (Porter 1899; Prado 1988); Región Metropolitana (Prado 1988; Porter 1998); Región de Ñuble (Porter 1979).

Comments. This species is reported by Prado (1988) amongst those parasitizing Grapholita molesta ( Lepidoptera: Tortricidae) in Chile, from samplings carried out in the Región Metropolitana and the Región de Valparaíso. Since the exact region of collection was not specified, we include both regions in our report.
