Anthaxia (Merocratus) tricolor Kerremans, 1912 species-group
Body smaller (4.5–6.0 mm), stouter, dorsal surface not very brightly bicolorous usually almost unicolorous, frons weakly or moderately depressed, antennae of male shorter, not reaching posterior pronotal angles when laid alongside; aedeagus usually shortly spindle-shaped, parameres with preapical, lateral teeth or aedeagus long, strongly narrowed at posterior half and parameres with fine but long, lateral, preapical spines. Species included: Anthaxia (Merocratus) deyrollei Bílý, 1998, A. (M.) longipilis Bílý, 1998, A. (M.) occipitalis Deyrolle, 1864, A. (M.) priska Bílý, sp. nov., A. (M.) tricolor Kerremans, 1912, A. (M.) violaceidorsis Bílý, sp. nov. and A. (M.) violaceiventris Deyrolle, 1864 .
