Comments: This cosmopolitan species has been found for the first time in Turkey at Kızıltepe (Mardin) and Şanlıurfa on sunflower by Önder & Lodos (1977) and described as Galeatus helianthi . It is distributed in Asia, Europe, North Africa, South Africa and India (Deckert & Göllner-Scheiding 2006).
