REMARKS. Body length is about 32 mm and wingspan about 114 mm. This species has infuscation in the fore wing along the ambient vein only in apical cells 7 and 8. This is the only Pachypsaltria species not to have infuscation along the entire ambient vein (Torres 1960).

DISTRIBUTION. The species has been reported only from Peru (Duffels & van der Laan 1985).
