Adusella venturii (Distant, 1906b)
Odopoea venturii Distant 1906b: 150 . (Salta Province, Argentina)
REMARKS. The history of they synonymy and status of the species is discussed in Sanborn & Heath (2014) and confirmed by Sanborn (2019b). Specimens can be distinguished from A. signata by fore wing infuscation extending across ulnar cell 3 without reaching the node along the nodal line, no spot of infuscation on proximal base of cubitus anterior 1, bifurcation of cubitus anterior 1 and cubitus anterior 2 forming an acute angle, cubitus anterior 1 slightly arched at its formation continuing as a smooth curve to distal vein, distal infuscation is denser, wider and more angulate lateral pronotal collar, more elaborate prothoracic and mesothoracic markings, green rather than piceous cruciform elevation, fuscous dorsal abdominal tergites, and smoothly rounded female opercula in A. venturii .
DISTRIBUTION. The species has been reported from Argentina and Peru (Metcalf 1963a; Duffels & van der Laan 1985; Sanborn 2013; Sanborn & Heath 2014) with recent records for Bolivia (Sanborn 2019b). Jacobi (1951) reported the species from the Rio Sondondo, Peru.
