REMARKS. The second of three heavily pilose species marked with piceous with hyaline wings. The piceous abdomen quickly distinguishes C. pilosa from C. peruviana and C. titschacki .

DISTRIBUTION. The species has been reported previously from Colombia and Venezuela (Metcalf 1963c; Sanborn 2013).
