Acerodon mackloti alorensis, subsp. n.

Skull and teeth as in A. m. mackloti and floresii (skull of type, total length 7 T 8 mm.; maxillary tooth-row, c-nd 29’7; m1, length 5’8, breadth 4'5), but external dimensions larger: forearm 156 mm., against 139-146 in nine adult specimens of the allied forms. Colour of fur scarcely differing from that of A. m. floresii.
