ARGUMENTAIRE TAXONOMIQUE

Toulgoët (1993 (1992)) reclasse dans le genre Haemanota Hampson, 1901, seize espèces dont les genres d’origine ont été mis en synonymie avec le genre Trichromia Hübner, 1819 parToulgoët (1991). Curieusement il oublie T. holophaea qui est une espèce très commune en Guyane et dont l’habitus se rapproche de Haemanota rubriceps Hampson, 1901, espèce type du genre. Nous proposons donc cette recombinaison.
