Distribution: Cambodia, S Laos, SE Thailand, and W Vietnam; possibly extinct.

Conservation: CITES – Appendix I; U.S. ESA – Endangered; IUCN – Critically Endangered.

Discussion: Included in Novibos by Coolidge (1940); but see Ellerman and Morrison-Scott (1951:380). Reviewed by MacKinnon and Stuart (1989).
