Description and diagnosis. See Barrion et al. (2013) for the original description of the male. The male of T. magaspangus can be distinguished from congeners, particularly T. eminulus Tang & Li, 2010, by the blunt patellar apophysis, the groove-shaped RTA with the downward ramus sharp, pointing dorsally (vs. RTA pointing ventrally in T. eminulus; Tang & Li 2010: fig. 51), and the embolic tip with an apophysis (vs. embolus thick and spinous in T. eminulus; Tang & Li 2010: fig. 51).
