Type material examined. Holotype ♁ (coll. no. S082), CHINA: Hainan Island, Panja Town, Songtao Reservoir, 3.IV.2011, leg. A. T. Barrion et al.

Description and diagnosis. See Barrion et al. (2013) for the original description and illustrations. The habitus of the male holotype specimen is presented in Fig. 8 and its palpal morphology is given in Fig. 7. The male of O. chunglinchaoi is similar to those of O. apicalis (Simon, 1893) (Tang et al., 2021: figs 4A–E, 5A–B), but can be distinguished by the cymbiobulbus without a clavate protrusion (vs. with a clavate protrusion in O. apicalis).
