Type material of Larinia duchengcaii (examined). Holotype ♀ (coll. no. Li2010-1), CHINA: Hainan Island, Lingshui, 9–13.VIII.2010, leg. A. T. Barrion & S.C. Villareal.

Description and diagnosis. See Yin et al. (1990) for a description and diagnosis of both sexes.

Distribution. China (Hainan, Hunan, Jiangxi, Yunnan).

Comments. The type material of L. duchengcaii was examined and no clear differences could be distinguished when compared with the females of L. triprovina, so we consider L. duchengcaii syn. nov. to be a junior synonym of L. triprovina .
