60. Notylia pubescens Lindley (1842: 62) .

Type:— BRAZIL: s. loc., ex hort., s.d., Messrs. Loddiges s.n. (lectotype, designated here: K-L s.n.!).

Notes: — Lindley (1842) described N. pubescens without indicating the holotype. An exsiccate has been found in K-L’s collection, which contains a single leaf, inflorescence and an illustration with evidence of having been one of the samples used by the author to describe the species. The sample has the characteristics described by the author in the protologue and that is why we designate it as a lectotype.
