Notes: — Lindley (1841) described N. aromatica, a species native to the state of Pará in Brazil obtained by Baker without designating a holotype or informing where it was deposited. A sample was located in his collection in the K herbarium with characteristics corresponding to the information described in the protologue, which is designated here as a lectotype.
