Current name: Lasianthaea fruticosa (L.) K.M. Becker ( Asteraceae).

Note: Blake (in J. Bot. 53: 13-14. 1915) discussed the Hortus Cliffortianus account and specimen, concluding that B. fruticosa was "based on" these two elements. D’Arcy appears to have been the first to explicitly treat the Clifford material as the type.
