Current name: Bupleurum praealtum L. ( Apiaceae).

Note: An illegitimate name as it includes the whole basis of B. praealtum L. (1759), i.e. the Magnol description and diagnosis. As such it is automatically typified by the type of B. praealtum . Stearn (in Geck & Pressler, Festschr. Claus Nissen: 65. 1974) reproduces (as his f. 8) the Dodoëns figure that is the type of both names.
