Distribution. Argentina, Belize, Brazil, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Guatemala, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay (likely Asunción: Santísima Trinidad, see Lindner 1928a: 94), Peru, Trinidad and Tobago, Venezuela.
Comments. Lindner (1928a: 97) reported this species for Paraguay, followed by Iide (1968: 252), but in the Neotropical catalog (James 1973a: 26.32) and the World catalog of the family (Woodley 2001: 167), Paraguay was not included as part of the distribution of this species.
