Eidalimus vitrisetosus Lindner, 1935: 398 . Holotype: female (SMNS, examined). Type locality: Brazil, Santa Catarina, Jaragua (= Jaraguá do Sul).

Material examined. Paraguay: 1 ♀, Presidente Hayes, [Río] Monte Lindo, 15.xi.1993, Bolívar Garcete col. (MEL) .
Distribution. Argentina, Brazil, Paraguay (Presidente Hayes: Río Monte Lindo).
Comments. According to James (1967: 99, 1973a: 26.57), the illustrations of head and scutellum, of a female specimen given in Lindner (1949a: 890, figs 39–40) were erroneously attributed to Eupachygaster punctifera Malloch, 1916, currently a species of Gowdeyana Curran, 1928, and should be referred to G. vitrisetosus .
