Notes.

The species produces pale brown, broadly fusiform conidia tapering at both ends, which are mostly 3 - septate (Ma et al. 2014). In conidial size and septation, it resembles P. ellipsoideum from the same study, but the latter differs in having ellipsoidal conidia that are broadly rounded at the apex.
