K. pelaezi Barrera, 1956 .

This species is known from some localities in the south of the country. Records for this species are in the Sierra Madre del Sur, in the colindant portion with the Tansmexican Volcanic Belt, in the type locality Sierra Madre del Sur, Guerrero. Ayala­Barajas et al. (1988) mentioned localities in Guerrero: Toro Muerto, El Iris, Bosque de Lauraceas, La Golondrina, Los Retrocesos, Nueva Delhi, Puente de los Lugardos and Río Santiago. The present work has a new host locality record in Queretaro. La Florida: 1 male, 6/3/1997, ex Peromyscus gratus gratus (167RAG); Peña Bernal, 12 km NW: 1 female, 14/2/1984, ex Peromyscus pectoralis pectoralis (1211MQ); Tequisquiapan, 4 km SW: 2 males, 12/4/1984, ex Perognathus flavus mexicanus (1322MQ).
