REMARKS
Athough somewhat subtle on herbarium specimens, the leaf texture is thicker and the sheen of the adaxial surface is more glossy (reflective) than members of G. a. subsp. bleuensis subsp. nov. and G. a. subsp. clusioides, which also occur in the southeast.
