It has been earlier reported from Libya by Dirsh (1965). It can be identified by its large, robust body and short, narrow head, pronotal carina practically straight, week, linear, sometimes indistinct, narrowly interrupted by the typical sulcus (Uvarov, 1943); metazona with thin edge, almost two times as long as prozona; tegmina very long, reaching the apex of hind tibia.
