Distribution in Iran. Fars (Safavi 1959; Modarres Awal 1997b), Golestan (Jakovlev 1880; Oshanin 1906, 1912; Putshkov 1965; Rider 2006), Tehran (Hoberlandt 1955; Safavi 1959; Modarres Awal 1997b), north and northwestern Iran (no locality cited) (Ribes & Pagola Carte 2013).

General distribution. Endemic to Iran.

Host plant. On Tamarix sp. ( Tamaricaceae) (Modarres Awal 1997b).

Comments. Lives in high mountains of southwestern Asia (Ribes & Pagola Carte 2013).
