Distribution in Iran. Semnan (Kiritshenko 1949), Iran (no locality cited) (Rider 2006).

General distribution. Europe (except the Northern parts, aprticularly Great Britain and Scandinavia) extending to the Near East and Central Asia (Iran).

Host plants. On the ground near or under Poaceae such as Bromus sp., Dactylis sp., Poa sp., (Derjanschi & Péricart 2005).
