5. Endoclita aboe (Moore, [1860]: 437) (Phassus)

Type locality: Darjeeling [India, West Bengal] .

Distribution: Indian records: Meghalaya, West Bengal (Grehan & Ismavel 2017). Global records: Nepal (Ueda 2000).

Note: Grehan et al. (2022) mentioned distribution of E. aboe from Sikkim. But Moore ([1860]) in his catalogue described the species from Darjeeling which was previously under Sikkim but presently is a part of West Bengal. Ueda (2000) also clarified about the presence of eight males and two females preserved in BMNH from Darjeeling only. So, we conclude that E. aboe is, so far, reported from West Bengal only.
