Grisea Group

The grisea group is equivalent to the subgenus Dasyhelea (Dominiak 2012) . Species are distinguished from all other groups/subgenera of Dasyhelea by their broad elliptical, bilobate or heart-shaped frontal sclerite, heavily sculptured antennal flagellomeres and elongate flagellomere 13 with tapered slender apex. Male tergite 9 usually with long apicolateral processes; sternite 9 relatively short with posterior margin concave, straight or convex; gonocoxal apodemes and paramere forming an asymmetrical structure; gonocoxite often with mesal hook or tubercle. Female subgenital plate usually with triangular, arrowhead-shaped or slender distal portion.
