Stenohelops (Helopelius) aeneipennis (Allard, 1876)

Nabozhenko) ; 1♂, 1♀ (PCMN), 1♀ (ZDEU): Turkey, Antalya Prov., Akseki Distr., near Güçlüköy, 36°50ʹ19.14ʺN / 31°47ʹ25.37ʺE, 656 m, 25.03.2021 (leg. B. Keskin, M. & S. Nabozhenko) .
Distribution and bionomics. This species was collected in many localities in SW Anatolia and Rhodes (Nabozhenko et al. 2020b). Usually, this species inhabits the woodlands of Juniperus excelsa in high mountains. We additionally collected S. aeneipennis on trunks of Pinus brutia in low mountains. Beetles were active from 19:30 to 21:00 at the end of March. The registered host lichen in the second locality (see material) is Physcia adscendens H. Olivier (Physciaceae) (Fig. 6C).
