Pygoluciola dunguna Nada in Nada & Ballantyne 2018: 343 .

Type. Holotype male. MALAYSIA. (FRIM).

Diagnosis. One of two species of Pygoluciola having a broad apically truncate MPP which curves slightly upwards to engage against the under surface of T8 (in these pinned specimens), and a yellow ventral abdomen with narrow black posterior margin of V5; dorsally dingy brown (in pinned specimens) or more usually bright clear yellow (in ethanol preserved specimens), with diffuse darker pronotal markings; distinguished from P. tamarat sp. nov. by the outline of the posterior margin of the V7 LO and the colour of the lateral margins and the MPP ( P. dunguna has LO with rounded posterior margin, and the clearer lateral margins of V7 outside the LO, and the MPP, are pale yellowish; P. tamarat sp. nov. has a median posterior emargination of the LO and the lateral margins of V7, and the MPP are dark brown.
