Diagnosis (Condé 1947a)

Troglomorphic species. Antennae with 29–34 antennomeres. Pronotum with 1+1 ma, 3+3 la, 1+1 lp macrosetae; mesonotum with 1+1 ma, 1+1–2+1–2+2 la, 1+1 lp macrosetae; metanotum with 1+1 ma macrosetae; long, barbed notal macrosetae, abundant notal clothing setae, smooth or with a few distal barbs. Two ventral tibial macrosetae. Unequal claws with large lateral crests, posterior claw with a backward overhang. Urotergite IV with 1+1 la, 1+1 post macrosetae; urotergite V with 1+1 la, 2+2 post macrosetae; urotergites VI–VII with 1+1 la, 4+4 post macrosetae; urosternite I with 7+7, urosternites II–VII with 5+5, urosternite VIII with 2+2 macrosetae. Male with a large area with glandular g 1 setae, subcylindrical appendages with glandular a 1 setae; female appendages like those of male.

Habitat and distribution

Subterranean species found in the Pećina u Hamidovoj vrtači and Špela Hajnet (= Špela Maja Hajnet) caves in southwestern Serbia, Dinaric Mountains.
