Selymbria Stål, 1861

Type species. Cicada stigmata Germar, 1834 (Brazil).

Remarks. Our records are the first for the genus in Argentina. The genus is known from Argentina, Brazil, French Guiana, Guatemala, and Panama (Metcalf 1963c; Ramos and Wolda 1985; Sanborn 2010b; 2011b; 2013).
