Alarcta minuta (Torres, 1949)

Tettigades minuta Torres 1949: 187 (type material examined).

Type locality. Central Pampa, La Pampa Province, Argentina.

Remarks. The species was recorded previously only from the type locality in La Pampa Province (Torres 1949; 1958d). We collected specimens in Buenos Aires, La Pampa and San Juan Provinces. The species is associated with the Espinal and Monte floristic provinces (Sanborn et al. 2011a).

New provincial records. Buenos Aires, Pehuen-Có, 17-XI-1981, J.E. & M.S. Heath (two males, MSHC); San Juan, Rt. 148— 22 km N Mercedes, 11-XII-1986, F. Noreiga Coll. (one male, MSHC) .
