Psephenotettix minor Torres 1958c: 35 (type material examined).

Type locality. Puna Jujeña, Jujuy Province, Argentina.

Remarks. The species is known only from Jujuy Province in Argentina (Torres 1958c) which is where we collected our specimens. The species is associated with the Prepuña floristic provinces (Sanborn et al. 2011a).
