Tettigades lizeri Torres 1942: 262 (type material examined).

Type locality. Mendoza, Argentina (Torres 1942). Torres (1958a) provided Villavicencio, Mendoza as additional location data for the holotype.

Remarks. The species is recorded from Argentina with specimens collected in Catamarca, Mendoza, and Salta Provinces (Torres 1942; 1958a). We were sent specimens from Chubut, and Río Negro Provinces.
