Tympanoterpes cordubensis Berg 1884: 113 (type material examined).

Type locality. Córdoba, Argentina.

Remarks. The species was reported from Córdoba Province (Berg 1884). We collected specimens in Córdoba and San Luis Provinces. The species is associated with the Monte floristic province (Sanborn et al. 2011a).
