Type locality. São Paulo, Brazil.

Remarks. The species recently was transferred to Fidicinoides (Sanborn et al. 2008) . The species was reported from Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, and Peru in Metcalf (1963a) and from the following provinces in Argentina: Córdoba (Deletang 1919), Misiones (Torres 1941) and Entre Rios (Berg 1879).
