Diagnosis. Forewing length is 13–13.5 mm in males and 13–15 mm in females. Externally, D. angulifera is different from other relatives by its orange brown forewing with a well-developed, fuscous transverse line being strongly V-like angled on the cell, with smoothed right angle before costal margin, and perpendicular to the costal edge. Among Indian species, the male genital capsule of D. angulifera most resembles that of D. reticulata, but differs clearly by its broader uncus, much broader tuba analis, shorter valva with more rounded apex, shorter distal saccular process with a smaller and more densely setose tip. Compared to that of D. reticulata, the aedeagus of D. angulifera is much broader and shorter, the vesica is much broader, the lateral diverticulum is broader and has a field of smaller spinules, and the distal diverticulum being much larger and fish bubble-like (that is hook-like curved in D. reticulata). The female genitalia of D. angulifera are characterized by the broader and asymmetrically sclerotized antrum, the lateral sclerotization of the posterior section of corpus bursae, the presence of two signa in corpus bursae and the small appendix bursae.

Distribution. The species is known from India (Jammu & Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and West Bengal) and Thailand (Moore 1878; Černý & Pinratana 2009).
