Type locality. China: Yunnan Province, Yingjiang .
Type Material. Holotype (1♂) in Coll. ZAFU (China).
Material examined. Holotype [SM00789], 1♂, Yunnan Province, Yingjiang, Tongbiguan nature reserve, 24°37.667′ N, 97°37.893′ E, 1513 m a.s.l. 16.V.2009, leg. Su-Jiong Zhang.

Fourth antennal flagellomere 2.83 times as long as wide, with neck much longer, body with mostly short setae and with a row of distinctly elongated setae near the neck (Fig. 5C). Thorax light brown. Remarks. Only holotype seen, 1♂ paratype [SM00824] lost, 1♂ paratype [SM00919] on loan and not examined in this study. This species resembles Z. (Pharetratula) flavicornis (Mamaev) and Z. (Pharetratula) bidens (Mamaev) in having a pair of megasetae but can be recognized by the gonostylus attenuated at the apex, and two megasetae on a shorter dorsal lobe, of unequal length, overlap each other in ventral view (Fig. 5B).
Distribution. China: Yunnan (Zhang et al. 2010).
