Microvelia (Microvelia) reticulata (Burmeister, 1835)
Microvelia (Microvelia) reticulata (Burmeister): Csabai et al. (2017: 59).
Material examined. CORFU: “35. ponds with open water (Poulades) | 2010.04.27.”, 1 ♀ apt. (Csabai et al. 2017).
Remarks. The occurrence of this Sibero-European species on this Mediterranean island is significant because of its low thermophily and because its southern limits in Europe still need to be defined (see e.g., Poisson 1957, Cianferoni 2011, Cianferoni et al. 2011, Cianferoni & Mazza 2012). The presence also of the more thermophilic M. pygmaea on Corfu is possible, although it has not been found.
