Material examined. CHINA, Heilongjiang: 1♁, Yichun, 10.VII.1964, slide No. ZL 09034 (IZCAS) ; Xinjiang: 1♀, Weihugou, Jimusaer, 1734 m, 10.VIII.2007, leg. XP Wang et al., slide No. ZL 09002 .

Diagnosis. Adult (Fig. 19). Wingspan 20.0 mm. Agonopterix broennoeensis is characterized by the ductus bursae with small spines in posterior 1/3, and denser from posterior 1/6 to posterior 1/ 4 in the female genitalia (Figs 50, 50a). It is similar to A. kaekeritziana (Linnaeus, 1767) in genital characteristics, and can be distinguished (Fig. 41) by the phallus with stout cornuti, which is slender in kaekeritziana; in the female genitalia by the signum placed in the anterior half while the signum is placed in the posterior half in A. kaekeritziana (Buchner & Šumpich, 2020: 211: fig. 44, 215: fig. 65).

Distribution. China (Heilongjiang, Xinjiang), Northern Europe, Russia (Buchner & Šumpich 2020).
