Simulium (Simulium) laui Takaoka & Sofian-Azirun, 2015 (in Takaoka et al., 2015a): 67–74 (Female, male, pupa and larva).

Distribution. Vietnam (Lam Dong).

Remarks. Simulium (S.) laui was described from Lam Dong Province, Vietnam (Takaoka et al. 2015a). This species is similar to S. (S.) lacduongense although it is distinguished from the latter by the bare basal portion of the female radial vein (Takaoka et al. 2015a).
