Type species — Cleodoxus cristatus Thomson, 1864 (original designation) [= Alcidion carinatum White, 1855].

Diagnosis. Lateral tubercle of the prothorax acute, placed posteiorly; pronotum tuberculate; elytra parallelsided, with elongated centrobasal crest, without setae on top, and wihtout lateral carina; basal metatarsomere longer than the two following together. Number of species currently included: 3.
